Abstract: The purpose of this action research is to address and improve student misbehavior in the classroom through the implementation of action methodology techniques. A study was conducted to improve student behavior in the classroom by collecting data from a select group of students in the school. The findings reveal that leaving class in the middle, arriving late, and not doing homework is common among students in selected secondary schools in Hidase Fire. In this study, teacher and student interventions are being implemented to address student misbehavior in the classroom. As a result, 60% of misbehaving students leave the class in the middle of the lesson. This misbehavior occurs 53.33% of the time during morning classes. The punishment for a student who misbehaves is a 40% chance of being sent to the director and being assigned extra work. The main causes of misbehavior in class are lack of student interest (73.33%) and teacher-observed misbehavior (33.33%). Other contributing factors include arriving late to class and not completing homework assignments. Overall, the major causes of misbehavior in class are a lack of implementation of school rules and regulations. To address behavioral problems in school, various action strategies and interventions have been implemented, resulting in improved student behavior.

Abstract: Nowadays, due to the advancement of technology, students can no longer produce new cognitive structures and take an active part in their learning process with traditional teaching methods such as lectures. Therefore, teachers should use teaching methods that attract students to learning. Therefore, one of the effective teaching methods for this demand is teaching with the help of various games. For this purpose, the present study investigated the effect of board games on the academic achievement and learning motivation of fourth-grade elementary students. This research is quantitative. The results of this study were collected from experiments on control and experimental groups. The statistical population, at first, all male students in the sixth grade of primary school in the city of Karaj were considered for the academic year 2022-2023. Then, by cluster sampling, it was reduced to one school and finally, randomly, to two classes of 30 people. The control group was trained by the usual method of the teacher`s explaining and then answering the questions in the book. The training of the experimental group was done by a board game. In the end, students of both groups were given a questionnaire to evaluate their teaching method and learning rate. Then, the same test was taken from both groups, and the average scores of both groups were calculated. The mean for the control group was equal to 12.23 and for the experimental group, equal to 16.53. According to the results of the surveys of the questionnaires and also the results of the tests of the two groups, the result showed that educational games, specifically board games, increase the learning rate of students and increase their interest in learning.

Abstract: Life education holds paramount importance for young children, enabling them to construct their individual lives and realize the value of life in the process of knowing and experiencing life. Kindergartens possess inherent advantages for the implementation of life education, but practical challenges hinder the effective execution of life education within these educational settings. Thus, this study starts from the problems of life education in kindergartens, thereby unveiling the existence of various predicaments in this realm, such as lack of conceptualization of teachers, dearth of comprehensive curricula, absence of a robust evaluation framework, and disparities in education between urban and rural areas. Through a comprehensive analysis of subjective and objective factors, it is believed that the primary determinants can be attributed to the profound influence exerted by the Chinese traditional concept of life and mortality, as well as the paucity of external support within the life education. An exploration into corresponding strategies is undertaken: firstly, enhancing teacher training to augment their proficiency in life education; secondly, standardizing the curriculum content to establish a comprehensive framework for life education; thirdly, devising an evaluative system for life education through multiple assessment methodologies; and fourthly, fostering mutual learning between urban and rural areas to facilitate the localized implementation of life education in both settings.

In instances where the technique is inadequately developed, capacity of the learner to sift through content in text to identify themes, filter own words and integrate messages may be compromised. The study examined effect of summary skills in acquisition of reading for learner achievement in comprehension. The targeted eight schools arrived at a sample of 476 using purposive, simple random sampling, principles of Solomon Four Group design and census model. Quasi-experimental design based on Solomon Four Group Design was used yielding 223 learners assigned to experimental while 253 control groups and 8 teachers of English. Reading comprehension tests, questionnaires, in-class observation and follow up discussion sessions were used in capturing data. Learners in experimental group obtained post-test mean of 33.47 (SD=15.55); control group obtained mean of 26.82 (SD=12.76), indicating that experimental scored highly in post-test than control group, not exposed to task-based learning method. The analysis obtained t-statistic of 3.24 (df=428, p=0.001), suggesting up to 99% chance that mean obtained by learners in experimental and control groups were significantly different. In addition, variable school was significantly associated with learning outcomes in comprehending text (p<0.000). Analysis revealed up to 95% chance that learner achievement in reading comprehension significantly associated with restating ideas in own words (X2 =20.823, df=9, p-value=0.013). Furthermore, results indicated that main concept displayed significant and positive association with learner achievement in reading comprehension in experimental and control groups at 95% CI and 90% CI respectively; (Model 1: Beta = 2.223, t = 2.120; Model 2: Beta = 1.673 t = 1.754. The study suggested that teachers be enlightened about the need of adopting multiple techniques to assist the learner to develop summary abilities in order to heighten greater levels of understanding and better grades.
